Meet Our Staff
Yang Sheng
Dr. Sheng Yang is a conductor with a diverse background in conducting, voice, and pastoral theology. He received his undergraduate degree from Wuhan Conservatory of Music in China, where he studied both conducting and voice. He then obtained a Master of Arts in Music and a D.Min in Pastoral Theology from Southern California Seminary.
Currently, Dr. Yang serves as the music/art director and conductor for several organizations, including the AmeriCal Youth Symphony, Hai-Yun Choir Society , The Sound of Spring Women ‘s Choir, and Glory Choir at Glory Christian Church of San Diego. He is also a visiting professor at Wuhan Conservatory of Music and a guest conductor for the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, China.
