Practice assigned music, bring required materials, arrive ready to rehearse, and notify the orchestra promptly about absences or schedule conflicts.
Treat fellow musicians, families, volunteers, and staff with courtesy. Listen attentively, care for shared equipment, and help maintain a focused rehearsal environment.
Follow venue and supervision instructions. Parents and guardians should keep contact details current and communicate access needs or safety concerns directly to orchestra staff.
Follow the confirmed call time, attire, and stage instructions for each performance. Obtain approval before speaking or making commitments on behalf of the orchestra.
Handle personal information with care. Confirm the orchestra’s consent process before sharing identifiable photographs, recordings, or member details, especially those involving minors.
Use orchestra resources for approved purposes. Leadership should review this draft, clarify responsibilities, and publish any approved changes with an effective date.
Organizational structure was inspired by the ACCEF bylaws reference. These original draft guidelines do not adopt ACCEF’s governance, fees, tax status, or membership rules. AmeriCal’s formal governance and approval process still need confirmation.
