About Us

AmeriCal Youth Symphony (ACYS) was founded on February 14, 2017, by our Music Director and Founding Conductor, Dr. Sheng Yang.

What began with just four dedicated young musicians has grown into a thriving youth orchestra with nearly seventy registered members today. This growth reflects not only the musical achievements of our students, but also the trust and support of families and the broader community.

ACYS operates under the umbrella of Friends of We Chinese in America, a nonprofit organization committed to education, cultural exchange, and long-term community engagement.
